What's the Special of Horses...

Why do we love horses so much?
What makes them so beautiful, so graceful, so magical?
It's power...
                  ...thudding hooves and heaving chests.
It's flying...
...horses give us the wings we weren't born with.
It's freedom and it's purest form...
                                                  ... wild and simple.
It's self expression.
It's bobbing heads and expressive faces.
It's velvet noses.
It's manes flowing in the breeze.
It's the elegance of the arab and the feral grace of the mustang.
It's the solid coat of the sleek, black friesian and the splotched beauty of a pinto.
It's eyes that look like pools of warm melted chocolate filled with love and trust.
It's nuzzle on the cheek to dry away your tears and  make you smile again.
Having a loyal friend who is always on your side.
It's fear and courage.
It's trust and loyalty.
It's strength and tenterness.
It's being able to lead and willing to follow.
It's breath taking beauty and something much, much deeper.
It's unity one heart and mind, in two bodies.
It's a bond deeper than friendship, more pure than love.

Once a Lifetime Horse

Some of us have never had any. But if you're a horselover and lucky, hopefully-you will found your once a lifetime horse you've dream of.
Lots of people pick horses from their colors, breed, age, or the competition he/she had winning. But once a lifetime horse doesn't depend from all of that. Its depend from the horse and our feeling  that cannot lie. Before we have a once-a-lifetime-horse, some of us can have one or some hf (horse friend). Hf is the bestest of the best, it can help us to find our once-a-lifetime horse. I don't have a once-a-lifetime-horse yet, but I have this three angels "Lightning, Africa, King Sapphire" these are my best friend. I can feel the brezze, the coldness, the fresh moment that time. When I with them, everything is wonderful. My strongest friendship is with Africa- a dappled grey mare with a blaze on her head and one sock on her right hind legs, she's not very tall-but she's not short too, she teach me how to trot when I was a fifth grader, so now I can trotting easily on a horse back. ''Nothing can teach riding better than a horse itself" So, like its name, once-a-lifetime-horse is just one horse/pony that can be the bestest of the bestest. But its not us who choose-both choosing-if you asked how do we know that horse/pony was our once-a-lifetime-horse, well... my answer is "you just know, if he/her who become your equine soulmate, one of the important part of our life." And with our once-a-lifetime-horse, we can communicate to each other I dont know how to explain it but believe me we can. Not in english, portugese, latin, or greek words. We just-understand each other.
I can imagine me and my once-a-lifetime-horse running in the freedom. We had a unique bond, they're unbreakable-unseparatable-and-unforgettable. And we supporting each other. All at once your dreams come true because you find the one you really love for now and forever, and it never end.....

About........ Friends............

A friend is the one who understand your pest, believe in your future, and accept you just the way you are.

We've know each other by CHANCE, became friends by CHOICE , still friends by DECISIONS. And when we say FRIEND FOREVER, that's definitely a lifetime PROMISE!

Never say you are happy when you are sad. Never say you are fine when you are not okay. And never say you feel good when you feel bad.

Your friend is the person who knows all about you, and still like you.

Side by side or miles apart, friends are forever.

Life's journey is easier when you hear friends footsteps beside you.

Friendship is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learn anything.

Flowers of true friendship never fade. Even in harsh condition, friendship never give up, it is a promise made forever.

Though miles may lie between us
we are never far apart,
for friendship doesn't count miles.
Its measured by the heart.

We shared smiles...
We wiped the tears
and through the years...
Our friendship has grown
along with us...
A wondeful part of my life...

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside  of a person

Old friends are gold!
New friends are diamonds!
If you get diamonds.
Dont forget gold.
Because, only gold can hold a diamond

"In the cookies of life, friends are the chocolate chips!"

How 2 canter with ur horse.....

Steps

  1. Mount and warm up the horse with work in the walk and trot. A good way to warm up your horse is by tying a lunge rope to it and let it walk and trot around in a circle.
  2. Prepare your horse to canter by picking up a balanced, forward trot. Sit a few strides before asking to canter. Half-halt before you ask to canter. When you are prepared, ask your horse to canter by sliding your outside leg behind the girth and pressing your leg against the horses side. The horse should pick up the canter. If not, the person on the ground can use the lunge whip (without hitting the horse) to encourage them to move forward into the canter.
    • A common fault when learning to canter is pulling on the reins for balance. This prevents the horse from moving forward and isn't very nice on their mouth! If you are on the lunge line, you can go into two-point position and hold the horse's mane or a safety strap (martingale). This will help you develop the feel for cantering without pulling on the horse's mouth. Remember that when you're holding onto the saddlecloth you have less control over the horse, this is very dangerous, instead just sit really deep into the saddle.
    •
  3. *If you are not pulling on the reins and your horse still doesn't canter, he may just be lazy so you can try giving them a kick with your outside leg or using a crop just behind your outside leg to reinforce the aid. Riders just learning to canter should not use a crop. Coordinating the crop while cantering for the first time is too much to handle! Inexperienced riders should always have a knowledgeable person on the ground for advice, as there are many other reasons a horse may not pick up the canter such as stiffness or lameness that a beginner may not diagnose
  4. 4. Once you are in the canter for the first time, try to relax and breathe! It will take a few times to get comfortable. Ideally you want your seat to stay in the saddle and follow the motion of the horse. Just like learning to rise the trot took practice, so will learning to sit the canter. Some horses are smoother than others so if you feel like you are getting pushed around too much when you try to sit, try holding two-point in the canter for a few laps on the lunge so you can get use to the feeling of the canter. If you are nervous and tense, you will not be able to relax in your seat and follow the motion of the canter. if you feel that the horse is going too fast lean back a little bit and your horse will probably slow down.
  5. 5
While cantering, just like at the walk, your hands should lightly follow the motion of the horse's head. You want your shoulders, hips and heels to remain in vertical alignment. You need your back and stomach muscles to be supple to absorb the motion of the canter. Your legs should remain still, relaxed and closed around the horses sides without clamping so your weight can sink down in your heels. remember, it is almost impossible to fall off if you sit up straight and follow the motion.

Two Horse

From a distance, each looks like every other horse.

But if you stop your car, or are walking by,

you will notice something quite amazing.

Looking into the eyes of one horse will

disclose that he is blind.

His owner has chosen not to have him put down,

but has made a good home for him.

This alone is amazing.

If
you are nearby and listening,

you will hear the sound of a bell.

Looking around for the source of the sound,

you will see that it comes from the

smaller horse in the field.

Attached to her halter is a small bell.

It lets her blind friend know where she is,

so he can follow her.

As you stand and watch these two friends,

you'll see how she is always checking on him,

and that he will listen for her bell and then

slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she

will not lead him to astray. When she returns to the

shelter of the barn each evening, she stops

occasionally and looks back, making sure her

friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses,

God does not throw us away just because

we are not perfect or because we have problems

or challenges. He watches over us and even brings

others into our lives to help us when we are in need.

Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by

the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.

Other times we are the guide horse, helping others see.

Good friends are like this.

You don't always see them,

but you know they are always there.
